01

Permanent progression and the source boundary

The official game information describes talents as permanent progression. That is different from selecting a tower or relic during a run. The supplied research does not establish every prerequisite, point cost or maximum rank in the current tree. A complete unlock route is therefore 待确认.

Earlier official patch notes do document individual tree changes. Those notes are useful for explaining why an old screenshot may differ from a later build. They are historical records, not proof that every listed number remained unchanged through 1.0. This page keeps that distinction attached to the affected entries.

02

Historical removals and renamed expectations

An earlier talent adjustment removed Superior Efficiency and Fast Learner. The developer said their effects were incorporated into base values. That announcement also listed a fixed 180-second countdown, increasing to 210 seconds in Sealed Citadel, and a 5% increase to experience gain. These are historical patch values; their full applicability to every 1.0 mode is 待确认.

That matters when a guide tells you to buy a node that no longer appears in its expected location. The source documents an actual removal rather than a player failing to find the prerequisite. It does not provide a current refund or respec procedure. Those procedures should not be inferred from the removal itself.

03

Documented node changes

The same earlier notes place Ember Spark in the center of the tree and describe three tiers. They add Lost and Found, which gives treasure chests a small chance to contain a previously built tower card. They also add Resilient Forging, which reduces malfunction duration. Exact percentages, per-rank values and point costs for these nodes are 待确认.

The wording “small chance” is intentionally not converted into a numeric drop rate. A duration reduction also does not establish complete immunity to malfunction. The source is enough to describe each node’s stated purpose, but not enough to optimize an entire build. A best-first talent order would require additional current game data.

04

The no-talents Heroic achievement

Mad Genius is among the new 1.0 achievements. Its condition is to clear Void Depths on Heroic without talents. The requirement is specific to that region and difficulty, so clearing an earlier region without talents is not the same condition. The collected notes do not explain the exact menu procedure for disabling or refunding talents.

A no-talents achievement should not be confused with a beginner progression recommendation. It defines a restricted challenge, not the fastest route to ordinary unlocks. Special Event Character and Infernal Shard access use separate full-game-clear requirements in 1.0. No source here establishes a talent purchase as a substitute for those requirements.

Questions

What players ask

Is there a verified best talent order?

No. Current node costs, prerequisites and comparative tests were not collected, so the best purchase order remains 待确认.
