Official source summary; unverified details marked 待确认
01
Unlock standalone Endless Mode
The archived official update says Endless Mode unlocks after clearing Misty Forest on any difficulty. Available maps still depend on campaign progress. A Daily Challenge can therefore select a region the player has not yet unlocked. The source does not promise that unlocking the mode grants every map immediately.
That update also allows Joker and Scrap Master in Endless Mode. It removes the Random Endless Mode option and adds Custom Game. Custom Game lets players choose maps from cleared regions and up to five blessing effects. These statements are tied to the archived mode update, with any later unrecorded changes marked 待确认.
02
Blessings change the starting rules
The official blessing examples include Blessing of Fate, which starts with 99 Gambler’s Tokens. Blessing of Death grants a forbidden instant-kill card for every three Block cards discarded. Blessing of Wisdom returns a copy of the first card played each round to the hand. The announcement says Daily and Weekly Challenges have three blessing effects.
These examples establish why two Endless runs can have different rules. They do not provide a complete current blessing catalog or prove one combination is optimal. Damage records and best-build rankings were not tested in the collected material. Those claims remain 待确认.
03
More Challenges! continues one cleared level
The introducing announcement places More Challenges! after a campaign level is cleared. Extra waves increase enemy health and speed while reducing gold drops. If a monster reaches the fire, the challenge ends and the player proceeds to the next level without taking fire damage from that event. The pause menu can also end the optional challenge.
The same announcement explicitly says these extra waves do not grant experience. The developer explains that they exist to test a completed defense without making optional play feel mandatory for rewards. Consequently, the source does not support advertising this option as an experience farm. Current behavior beyond the documented rules is 待确认.
04
More Levels! continues after the boss
More Levels! is the campaign continuation offered after defeating the final boss. Its introducing announcement describes increasing difficulty across additional levels, with enemy strength scaling across waves. That is different from repeating waves on a single cleared map. It also differs from entering the standalone Endless menu.
The 1.0 release later caps monster speed growth in the post-clear challenge at 30% and changes per-wave HP growth from 25% to 30%. Those are later challenge adjustments rather than a reason to reuse every old scaling value. The notes do not provide a complete current scaling calculator. Exact survival records and a universal wave limit are 待确认.
05
Event achievements are separate targets
Version 1.0 adds Gift Defender for surviving wave 20 on Snowridge Outpost. Frontier Guardian asks for wave 20 on Wyrmfell Bridge. Those achievement targets do not establish that every Endless map ends at wave 20. The research has no verified maximum-wave record or guaranteed clear setup.
Questions
What players ask
Do optional extra campaign waves give experience?
The official announcement introducing More Challenges! says those optional waves do not grant experience. That statement should not be generalized into an undocumented rule for every mode.
